Reservations close September 30, 2026. If I haven't hit 50 by then, I don't build the run, and every deposit is refunded in full by October 7, automatically. You don't have to ask. External dimensions are 18.5" × 12.6" × 13" (about 47 × 32 × 33 cm). That's sized for the tackle area and below the rail on standard San Diego sportfishing boats. And because the lid is sit-and-stand rated, it earns its deck space twice: storage and a seat.
The box ships with 2 clip-on rod holders, included free, and the first 50 reservations get 4 — double the standard set, no separate purchase needed. Your rigged rods travel on your own gear instead of the boat's rack. When the captain calls the drop, you're not fighting the crowd for a rail spot or waiting your turn. You grab a rod and get your jig down first. Between sessions there's also room inside to stash your reels so nothing rolls loose on a pitching deck.
